I was born in Birmingham and spent many happy holidays in Bournemouth as a child. After a successful career in telecoms, I was able to move here with my family in 2002. My children, now grown up attended local schools and live locally. I am married to Paul, a cloud engineer, have three granddaughters and two crazy Dachshunds!
I became interested in politics, shortly after moving here, as I felt the town had suffered from bad decisions made by the Liberal Democrat Council at that time, demonstrating a lack of interest in the heritage and natural beauty of the area. In 2007 I was elected to Moordown and it was a privilege to serve the residents of the ward until May 2023. I also campaign for women’s rights and child safeguarding and I’m not afraid to speak out. I have never shied away from standing up for what is right and fair.
